Somer Hollingsworth: Chief Advisor

Somer Hollingsworth serves as Chief Advisor for our Board of Advisors, as well as Executive Vice President of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. He is recognized as one of the 50 most influential people in the State of Nevada. Mr. Hollingsworth has more than 45 years of experience in business management and overall administration, his positions spanning from bank teller to President to Chief Executive Officer of several local banking institutions. He has been an integral part of the growth, management, and direction of the LVGEA, helping to propel the organization to become the leading source for relocation and expansion efforts of businesses to Southern Nevada.

Dr. Ruth Gault, PhD: Advisor

Dr. Gault holds a distinguished record for education and research, with continued achievement in the fields of patent development and publication. She has been a distinguished Professor, Researcher, and Lecturer at The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine since 1993. A member of the American Society of Microbiologists, Dr. Gault holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. She currently receives funding and support through the Neil J. Redfield Foundation for the Great Basin Mold Project, and previously, she received funding from the National Institute of Health for the Use of Energy Biofield Therapy for the Treatment of Cancer and GVHD.

Penny Rasmussen: Advisor

Penny Rasmussen recently retired as an established and trusted administrative manager and advocate, overseeing numerous entire departments spanning Washoe County. She spent 20 years as President and Board of Directors Member for the Washoe County Employees’ Association, where she served to better working conditions among Washoe County employees. During the past seven years she has also served as President and Executive Director of WAGE, the Working Assembly of Governmental Employees. In addition, Penny has been diagnosed with one of the most rare forms of cancer.
